Suspended Sales
Park a cart mid-sale, come back to it exactly as you left it.
What it does
Lets a cashier hold an in-progress cart as a draft ticket tied to the current shift, then pull it back up later from a pick list to resume exactly where it left off - or discard it outright if it's never coming back.
How it works
Hold instead of losing the sale
A customer steps away, or the cashier needs to help someone else - Hold saves the cart as-is and clears the screen for the next customer.
Pick it back up later
Resume lists every ticket still on hold for the current shift; double-clicking one loads it straight back into the cart, customer details included.
Finish or hold again
A resumed ticket updates the same draft when it's finished or held again, so one held sale can never turn into two competing entries.
Clear out abandoned tickets
Discard permanently drops a held ticket that isn't coming back, with a confirmation prompt so it's never accidental.
The problem it solves
A busy counter needs to step away from an in-progress sale without losing the work already rung in or blocking the line behind it - manually re-ringing every item is slow and invites pricing mistakes. Because a held ticket is just a normal unposted draft invoice under the hood rather than a temporary file on one machine, it survives a crash or reboot instead of disappearing along with it.
