HR Attendance

Know exactly who worked, when, and against what schedule - straight from the fingerprint reader.

What it is

HR Attendance tracks when employees actually clock in and out, compares it against the shift they were scheduled to work, and turns that into a clean day-by-day record for every employee. Punches can arrive automatically from real fingerprint biometric devices on the network, or be entered manually when needed. Company holidays and approved leave are factored in automatically, so a day off never gets flagged as an unexplained absence.

How it works

Define shifts

Set up named shift templates - start and end time (including overnight shifts that cross midnight), unpaid rest minutes, and days off - once per shift pattern, then reuse them everywhere.

Schedule each employee's week

Assign a shift to each of an employee's seven days, or set custom hours for exceptions. Copying last week forward or applying one day's setup to the whole week makes routine scheduling fast.

Capture punches automatically

Fingerprint devices on the network log every clock-in and clock-out; Platinum pulls that log in on demand and matches each punch to the right employee. Manual punches can be added when a device isn't available.

Reconcile the day

The Attendance screen lines up scheduled shift time against actual punches for every employee at once, color-coding missing punches, holidays/vacation, and already-committed days so exceptions jump out immediately.

Commit and audit

Once a day looks right, it's committed as the official record; if a punch needs fixing afterward, the day can be reopened, corrected, and recommitted, with every change kept in an audit trail.

The problem it solves

Without a real attendance system, businesses are stuck trusting handwritten sign-in sheets or a spreadsheet nobody double-checks - lateness goes unnoticed, absences are hard to prove, and payroll disputes have no evidence behind them. Platinum reconciles each employee's actual clock-in/clock-out record against their assigned shift every single day, flags exceptions in plain color-coded terms, and keeps a permanent, auditable log of every punch - including who edited what and when.

💰 HR & Payroll

Every committed attendance day gives each employee a verified record of hours worked, lateness, and absence, cross-checked against approved leave and the company holiday calendar - exactly the evidence a payroll run needs to justify overtime pay or a late deduction, instead of relying on someone's memory or a paper timesheet.
