Negative Stock Handling
Find every manufactured item that's gone negative, and manufacture it back to zero in one batch.
What it does
This screen finds every item that both has a recipe defined and has gone negative on hand at a chosen branch and store - meaning more of it has been sold or moved out than was ever actually produced - and lets staff fix all of them at once. Selected items are brought back to zero by posting one Adjustment In covering every item, and one Adjustment Out consuming each one's recipe raw materials, in a single batch.
How it works
Pick a branch, store, and as-of date
Defines exactly which stock position is being checked for items that have gone negative.
Load the candidate list
Only items that both have a defined recipe and currently sit at a negative on-hand quantity appear - nothing else clutters the grid.
Choose which items to fix
Every row is selected by default, but Select All/Select None and per-row checkboxes let specific items be excluded from a batch instead of forcing an all-or-nothing fix.
Post to fix the batch
For each selected item, the system recalculates its recipe cost fresh from raw materials' current prices - not whatever the recipe last had saved - then posts an Adjustment In bringing that item back to zero and an Adjustment Out consuming the raw materials that quantity would have required.
Re-checked right before posting
Every selected item is verified against the live negative-quantity list again at the moment of posting, so a batch built from a stale grid can't accidentally over-correct an item someone else already fixed.
The problem it solves
Negative stock on a manufactured item is a symptom, not a root cause - it happens when sales or other movements outpace someone remembering to raise a manufacturing order for it. Left alone, those negative numbers quietly distort every stock and costing report downstream. This screen turns 'go find every item that's wrong and correct it one by one' into a single batch action, while still pricing each correction from live raw-material costs so the fix itself is valued accurately, not left stale.
